Insurance & Financing

Hedgecoe Dentistry accepts all dental insurance. Additionally as a courtesy to our patients, we also file insurance claims with insurance companies. Any portion not covered by dental insurance is the patient’s responsibility at the time of service. To avoid any unwelcome surprises, please contact us prior to your visit to get an estimate of any dental expenses not covered by your Dental insurance plan.

Payment Options

For your convenience, Hedgecoe Dentistry accepts cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card. Monthly payment plans are available through CareCredit, a patient financing plan.

Tricare – Metropolitan Life Information

Active duty military family members often ask if we are a Metropolitan Life (Tricare) provider. While we are not a Metropolitan Life “provider,” we DO accept Metropolitan Life Insurance and file it for you. While there may be additional out-of-pocket expenses for non-provider visits, our Metropolitan Life patients are frequently surprised at the minimal costs – often a few dollars per visit (for routine dental care). Please contact us with any questions on how we work with Tricare-Metropolitan Life.

Cosmetic Dentistry Information

We believe that cosmetic dentistry is both an art and science. Envisioning and creating a beautiful smile requires artistic vision, while implementing that vision requires technical knowledge and skills. Pediatric Patient Information

Hedgecoe Dentistry welcomes children of all ages. For children with anxiety about visiting the dentist, we recommend scheduling the initial appointment and the hygiene appointment on separate visits; this allows the child to get to know us before any dental cleanings or other procedures. Contact us for additional information regarding your child’s first visit or any other pediatric dental questions.

Family Dental Information

With three dentists we will do our best to schedule your dental visits as a family to make life more convenient for you. We can work to schedule them at the same time or back-to-back if you prefer.
